Tips from Dr. Phil -How to Avoid a Bully
1. Don’t get into a fistfight with a bully or try to retaliate in other ways.
2. Don’t believe the insults about you.
3. Don’t overestimate how much power a bully has over you.
4. Don’t think that bullying will stop if you ignore it.
5. Don’t waste time in places online where bullies target you.
6. Don’t be afraid to think of new ways to solve the conflict.
7. Don’t believe you deserve to be picked on.
8. Do get real about bullying and how it makes you feel.
9. Do get angry, but keep anger under control.
10. Do write down how you feel.
11. Do learn to say and believe good things about yourself.
12. Do speak confidently when telling a bully not to physically touch you.
13. Do work on developing at least one good relationship with a classmate, neighbor and/or older child.
14. Do walk or run away if a bully tries to hurt you.
These pointers are to help those who feel helpless and reporting the bullying immediately is the best weapon you have to counteract the bullies. They can be beaten back and you are a valuable person. Do not let others have power over your feelings and it does get better.

HELP ME! I'M BEING BULLIED!
HELP! I'M BEING BULLIED
If you want to know how to report someone to youtube, police, and the FBI, please visit my site and print the information off for the future as a FYI or JIC (just in case).
YOUTUBE COMMUNITY
1. PRINT OFF PAGE ENTIRELY. You can do this by pressing down on CTRL & P.
2. BLOCK THE PERSON WHO WROTE THE COMMENT.
3. REPORT THE PERSON, VIDEO OR COMMENT through the You Tube Safety Center. [http://www.google.com/support/youtube/bin/request.py?contact_type=abuse]
4. DO NOT RESPOND. The communication between the two of you is over, so don't write mean words, call her names, desegregate her channel, or have anyone else write ANYTHING ~ NO
5. You ARE THE BULLY as soon as you respond & YOU ARE GUILTY if the bully decides not to respond, BUT instead REPORTS YOU.
6. You ARE THE BULLY if a friend writes anything on their page regardless if you asked them to or not. If they are truly your friends, they will IGNORE THE SITUATION COMPLETELY and carry on as they always do with you.
7. You ARE THE BULLY if you POST ANYTHING ABOUT THE USER.
8. DO NOT write anywhere for others to UNSUBSCRIBE another persons channel. You don't own your besties...so start by respecting your besties to decide for themselves what to do.....just as you have done.
9. DO NOT write [this user makes me sad], [this user hurt my feelings], [this user was mean to me]. You are really posting, "Go stick up for me. Go attack her channel. Go put her down."
10. Your loyalty to your friends has nothing to do with subscriptions ~ who subs, who unsubs, etc. If your friends aren't being affected by your bully, then their loyalty is to remain friends with you by doing your normal activities forgetting about the bully.
CYBER911 INTERNET BULLYING, STALKING
You can report anyone who is stalking you, bullying you or harassing you on the internet, but you MUST have the proof saved and printed out to prove this. They may request a file from your harddrive to see if any comments are purposely missing or deleted as NOTHING is fully deleted on the computer. The police can find 'ANYTHING DELETED'.
https://www.wiredsafety.org/forms/stalking.html
If you are being blasted with swears, threats, or harassment here are the online sites you need to report the crime to the police, cyber tips and then the FBI.
1. Read this site to know if you have a crime committed against you. http://wiredsafety.org/cyberstalking_harassment//index.html
2. Print off the comments and the channel page and put it in a duotang and give it to an adult (parent, teacher, guardian).
3. Call your adult will call the police station and ask them to send you an officer to report the harassment. They take this very seriously. You can also go to your police station, but they usually are out and you sit and wait a long time for them. Give them the duotang of printout.
http://wiredsafety.org/cyberstalking_harassment//index.html
4. Then your adult goes on this cyber crimes tips which is affiliated with the FBI and you read through there terms and conditions required before you report a crime to the FBI.
http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx FBI INTERNET CRIMES
5. Once your adult agrees to the terms (legal contract ~ against the law to prank), your adult can report your crime.
Do make constructive comments. "Instead of this..... you might want to try this..... on your next video" or "I tried that, but found this worked better...but you decide."
Don't bait anyone to visit another person's site to say anything related to "drama, negativity, meaness, and/or jealousy." I'm not referring to anyone on youtube.
The reason is conspiracy. You are guilty for every word that person writes because you engaged them to do it. Think before you write, certain words are flagged & suspend your accounts.

Baby Steps to Changing How Others See You & How You See Yourself
Everyone has there own sense of style, inner beauty, and personal hygiene routines. You don't need to change who you are, but you do need to maintain all the good within you. Our outside reflection actually is greatly affected by our inward reflection.
I know that many will read this and think that this is all about looks or the plastic side of beauty, but that isn't the purpose of some of the exercises below. I don't want you to change anything about yourself unless you want to make that change. I also don't want you to miss out on the opportunity to change certain areas in your life that maybe you didn't know how to go about it.
You'll need to do some stuff to boost your esteem in steps. Try using a poster board and cut out all the things you like, want, are curious about, etc. and glue it to the board. The poster is YOU, so have fun with it. Add your sense of style and flair. You can do several boards for different categories like Hair, Make Up, Exercise (Outfits, Style, Yoga, Cycling, etc.), Future Aspriations & Occupations, Towns & Cities to Visit or Live, etc.
1. Pick up a hair magazine with various hairstyles for your hair. Flip through it and finds 5 styles that you like and they must be for different shaped faces to for variety.
The next time you go to the hair salon, bring the magazine and show the folded pages to the stylist and ask her which one she thinks would suit you and see if you can follow through. You could have a few face framing high lights or low lights depending on the stylist recommendations for a change.
2. Find a place with an esthetician. Set up an appointment with an esthetician to do a consult. She/he will take a look at your body and see if there are areas that could use hair removal, trimming or color.
If you have your own nails, think about a manicure. You can do it at home, but you do need to schedule a day and time and stick to it. If you have a nail or two that's either thin, chipping or snagged, you can always ask an esthetician to either put a coat of acrylic or gel to overcoat the nail. This will give it a chance to catch up in length to your other nails.
If you don't have your own nails, start saving up to try 3 months with acrylic tips (Approx $55.00 to put on....4-5 weeks later needs a fill approx $35.00 and then again in another 4-5 weeks). Yes, men do tips too if they are nail biters. No gloss polish (matte).
3. Pick a classy store that isn't expensive. See if there is an outfit already put together on a manican and whether it would suit you or ask one of the clerks if she could assist you with one new look Casual, Sporty, Sharp, etc. or a few looks to cover different categories, events, etc.
4. Find something that you are passionate about or would like to become passionate about. ie. learn to teach step aerobics, learn boxercise, take judo or tae kwon do, spinning classes, water aerobics, swimming, martial arts, self defense, walking with poles, etc. It should be something that exerts you and exhilerates you...try a spinning class for example.
5. Get yourself strong. Try going to the gym 3 days each week or 5 and alternate upper body then lower body the opposite day. See how toned and buff you can get yourself.
If you are overweight, then there are more lifestyle changes that you can make to help you with this. (ie 6 mini meals a day)
6. Challenge yourself to do it. (ie. making polymer clay animals ornaments chokers, knitting hip bags, making useful items out of wood, get a Bunny and train it indoors see youtube ~ Bailey Bunny. Lots of men, women, girls and boys have Bunnies for companions.
7. Grab a binder/notebook and fill it with magazine clippings, photos, journaling, print outs, etc. sports, strong men, etc. Decorate it. Add your poems, essays, blogs, put your touch on it, it's your book that you can do whatever you want, say whatever, etc.
8. Turn your experience into a blog. Have questions and answers. Have a list of do's instead of's. Help those who are in your position but not as strong as you. Show them a different direction to go. Give them ideas to pursue based on personalities, etc.
*LASTLY, each day you get up, be cheerful and silly with yourself. It'll be easier if you have a pet (bunny, fish, gerbil, etc) but practice.
*Each day you will bath/shower, shampoo hair, wash fash, brush teeth, cover up any imperfections. Experiment with styling your hair different on 5 days. If you have short hair, it can be a challenge....you DON'T need to like the styles, it's just to change things up a bit. (ie wet, dry, parted left, parted right, combed back, combed forward, wings, no wings, etc.)
*It's a journey that you are going to create for yourself, but make a promise to yourself to TRY. It doesn't mean you can't have a few days to go BLAH, but make an effort to pick yourself up.
*Eventually, you may be able to arrange a Girls Night with Self Defense Instructors. It's a great time with girlfriends and enemies...I know, but it can actually bond you with those who you would never think it would happen in a million light years.
You are the only one in control to make changes and you know you can do small changes in steps and not all at once. Take the steps in weeks rather days or hours and slowly take account with photos.
